A Longview man has been sentenced to 100 years in prison for sexually abusing a child for 12 consecutive years.
A jury in the 124th District Court found Justin Eugene Howard, 39, guilty of aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first degree felony; sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony; and indecency with a child by sexual contact, a second-degree felony, the Gregg County District Attorney性视界传媒檚 Office announced Friday.
Judge Alfonso Charles sentenced Howard on Thursday.
性视界传媒淗oward性视界传媒檚 convictions stem from the continuous sexual assault of a girl that began back in 2008, when the child was just six years old, and continued through 2020,性视界传媒 prosecutors said in a news release. 性视界传媒淭estimony at trial indicated Howard had committed multiple sexual offenses against the child during this time frame.
性视界传媒淏ecause of the level of control his heinous acts had on the child, she did not report his crimes immediately but was able to bravely come forward once she became an adult and courageously spoke out. The survivor gave an emotional impact statement following sentencing.性视界传媒
