Longview Regional Medical Center on Monday donated $1,000 to an organization dedicated to supporting people fighting serious illnesses: Pink Heals of Gregg County.

Pink Heals of Gregg County volunteers showed up with a pink firetruck for Longview Regional性视界传媒檚 性视界传媒淧ink Out性视界传媒 event, which took place on the hospital helipad. The event was part of during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Pink Heals of Gregg County supports women fighting breast cancer, but its mission has expanded to supporting their families and other people with serious illnesses.

The organization offers camaraderie and fundraising for women and their families facing myriad traumatic events 性视界传媒 from house fires to having a child with a cancer diagnosis. All proceeds raised from a fundraiser benefit the person for whom its designated.

Pink Heals Donation

The organization is known for visiting the homes of people with cancer and creating attention-grabbing events with their pink fire engine to offer hope to people with the illness. Patients sign their names on the fire engine as well.

On Monday, Longview Regional nurse Kelli Luna signed her name to the fire engine. She is taking treatment for breast cancer.
