Terry and Cliff Phoenix of Longview are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Rachel Lynn Harless, to Zachary Blake Carter, son of Jeff and Shannon Freeman of Hallsville and Kevin and Lisa Carter of Royse City.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Anthony Clay Harless. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Pat Harless of Marshall and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Moore Jr. of Longview. Rachel attended Texas Tech University where she received a degree in Management/Marketing with a concentration of Global Supply Chain Management in May of 2014. She is currently an Operations Supervisor at J.B. Hunt Final Mile in Dallas.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. Herman Weber and Ms. Carolyn Weber of Hallsville, Billy and Linda Keeton of Brenham and Scott and Karen Foster of Wills Point. Zachary graduated from Eastfield College Police Academy in June of 2013. He is currently serving as a police officer in the Fort Worth area.
The couple will marry on January 16, 2016 in Murchison, Texas.
