QUESTION: When will the gaming lab at the Broughton Recreation Center be operational?
ANSWER: This question was actually one that a city resident brought to the Longview City Council recently. I性视界传媒檝e heard other people ask about it, too, so I thought this would be of wider interest.
The remodeled Broughton Recreation Center opened a couple of years ago, but additional planning and work were needed to open the gaming lab that was planned to be part of the facility.
The good news is that the gaming room should be operational this summer.
性视界传媒淎ll of the new computers and TVs have been installed and are operational,性视界传媒 Parks and Recreation Director John Albertson said in an email. 性视界传媒淥ur IS department is currently installing games on the computers with the hope to have that completed by the end of the month.
性视界传媒淲e are also working in conjunction with the Longview library to install some additional gaming systems ahead of the summer break for our city性视界传媒檚 youth to be able to use. Keep an eye on our social media for advertisements in the near future for more e-sports programming starting at the end of this month and ramping up as schools let out for the summer.性视界传媒
Sounds like it性视界传媒檚 going to be good summer for a lot of kids.
