BOONE, Iowa -- John Deere性视界传媒檚 new model of 9RX tractors is designed with the power to pull large tillage implements and air seeders, according to the company.
It comes in models with 710, 770 and 830 horsepower. While the top model is rated at 830 horsepower, its peak horsepower is 913, according to Michael Porter, John Deere性视界传媒檚 go-to market manager of large tractors, tillage and scrapers. It性视界传媒檚 the highest horsepower on the market, he said.
性视界传媒淭his machine has been ground-up redesigned to pull implements faster, wider and smarter than ever before,性视界传媒 said Porter, describing the new model while standing in its shadow Aug. 28 on a hot morning at the Farm Progress Show in Boone.

All models have a new track assembly and come with an 18-liter engine that meets Tier 4 emission standards without requiring the addition of diesel exhaust fluid, he said.
性视界传媒淐ustomers are really excited to be able to just have to put diesel in this machine every day and get rolling to the field without the complication of adding diesel exhaust fluid,性视界传媒 Porter said.
The split hydraulic system dedicates flow to large implements like air seeders. Triple pumps allow a flow of 168 gallons to the implement, leaving a dedicated reservoir for tractor systems like breaking, turning and shifting.

The tractors come autonomy ready with all the harnesses, hardware and software in place.
性视界传媒淲henever they decide that autonomy is right for them, they can add those cameras, plug and play and run autonomously with their tillage solution,性视界传媒 Porter said.
The model displayed at the Farm Progress Show was hooked to an MT series minimum tillage in-line ripper, which is replacing John Deere性视界传媒檚 2100 series. It comes with wider models, the MT11, 9, 7, 5, for the number of shanks on the tool. It comes with a feature called True Set Active.
Porter said they性视界传媒檝e focused on making the shanks long-lasting.
性视界传媒淢aking sure the customer can get full seasons in and not have to stop and replace worn parts in the middle of the season,性视界传媒 he said.
John Deere introduced its first coulter chisel tool, the CC Series 11, 13, 19, 21, 25 models, correlating to how many shanks with a 15-inch spacing. It comes autonomy-ready once the customer adds a StarFire receiver.
Both tillage tools come with TurSet Active technology, allowing operators to set the depth in the cab that sensors will help maintain in the field.

Combine upgrades aim to save fuel, increase productivity
John Deere性视界传媒檚 new S7 Combines include many features of its X9 combine, including the residue system.
The PowerCast tailboard works well with small grains especially, finely sizing the residue and spreading up to 45 feet, said Bergen Nelson, go-to market manager for harvesting equipment.
性视界传媒淓specially in some of those tougher conditions and weeds, customers have told us they really like that tailboard on the X9 combine,性视界传媒 he said.

The S7 comes in models 600, 700, 800 and 900. Each offers new engines that burn up to 10% less fuel. Predictive groundspeed automation uses cameras mounted on the cab that look out 28 feet in front of the machine. The real-time data they gather, coupled with satellite imagery allows the combine to speed up and slow down proactively.
That allows operators to run the machine at full capacity all day long, increasing productivity 20 percent, Nelson said.
Automating the five main harvest settings 性视界传媒 rotor speed, fan speed, concave, chaffer and sieve clearances 性视界传媒 keeps the operator from needing to constantly monitor those settings.

Air-cart upgrades more precise
For those thinking ahead to next planting season, John Deere had its newest air-seeder model on display.
First introduced at the Commodity Classic show this past winter, new electronic meters are the highlight. New stainless steel AccuRate meters improve section control. They help avoid gates sliding shut and causing seed damage or dumping. The new meter bank has as many as eight individually controlled meters in each tank.
All models of the C Series cart, not just the biggest ones, have tank scales. They allow for operators of all sizes to track how many acres they have left.
The air cart is equipped with the EZCal system, allowing operators to dump their product in and tend to other tasks while the system calibrates.

A few new features improve precision planting. Curve compensation allows a producer to put more seed down on the outside than the inside automatically.

High fidelity prescriptions allow for more fine tuning. Every section of the toolbar can be programmed with its own prescription for seeding. On an 80-foot tool, for example, operators had to run one prescription in the past. The C Series can break that down into prescriptions for each of the eight primaries or 10-foot sections.
