Missouri wide receiver Mekhi Miller is expected to enter the transfer portal, according to reports by 247Sports and PowerMizzou on Thursday night.

The transfer portal doesn性视界传媒檛 officially open until Monday, and Miller has not stated his intent to enter, yet multiple sources have reportedly confirmed he will make the move, according to 247Sports.

After recording eight receptions and 126 yards in his freshman season and 11 receptions for 148 yards and a touchdown in 2023, Miller hauled in just three catches for 35 yards this year.

Miller性视界传媒檚 departure would be one of several the Tigers will have to deal with in their wide receiver room come next season.聽Graduates Mookie Cooper and Theo Wease Jr. are in their final year of eligibility, and junior Luther Burden III declared for the NFL Draft on Monday.

Special teamers to enter portal

MU freshman punter Will Safris announced that he is entering the transfer portal Thursday. The Johnston, Iowa, product did not appear in a game for the Tigers this season. He was ranked the No. 33 punter in the country by Kohl性视界传媒檚 Professional Camps coming out of high school.

He was the second Mizzou punter to enter the transfer portal in as many days; sophomore Orion Phillips announced he was leaving MU on Wednesday. The departures of Safris and Phillips, paired with the graduation of starter Luke Bauer, leaves the Tigers without a punter for the 2025 campaign.

Junior backup kicker Nick Quadrini also announced his intention to enter the transfer portal Thursday. The 6-foot-1 backup did not see the field in either of the two seasons he spent in Columbia.

The Kickapoo High School alum was a 4陆-star recruit and ranked in the top 100 as both a punter and a kicker, per Kohl性视界传媒檚. His departure would leave redshirt freshman Blake Craig as the only kicker on MU性视界传媒檚 active roster. Robert Meyer, a five-star prospect, according to Chris Sailer Kicking, will join the Tigers next year.

Long snapper Jack Kautz was the third Mizzou specialist to announce his intent to enter the transfer portal Thursday. The 5-foot-11 junior was a five-star long snapper coming out of high school, according to Kohl性视界传媒檚. Henry Crosby, a five-star recruit and the fifth-ranked long snapper in the Class of 2025, per Kohl性视界传媒檚, committed to Mizzou as a preferred walk-on Nov. 20.

Cook again named SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year

As his time as Missouri性视界传媒檚 starting quarterback winds down, Brady Cook continues to collect awards.

For the second time in as many seasons, Cook was named the Southeastern Conference Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year on Thursday. The recipient of the honor is decided by a vote of all the conference性视界传媒檚 coaches. It性视界传媒檚 the third time in four seasons that the award has gone to a Mizzou player. Former Tiger and current Denver Broncos running back Tyler Badie won in 2021.

Cook earned his bachelor性视界传媒檚 degree from MU in December 2022. Since then, he has working toward a master性视界传媒檚 degree in business administration. The signal-caller is also a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, which is a nationwide scholar-athlete award.

MU extends offer to Colorado School of Mines punter Doud

Colorado School of Mines punter Blake Doud received an offer from Mizzou on Wednesday.

Doud was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference性视界传媒檚 Special Teams Player of the Year on Nov. 20. He led Division II punters in average yards per punt (46.6) and net punt yards (1,909) this year. The redshirt junior recorded an 80-yard punt against West Texas A&M on Sept. 5.
