Nineteen former Kilgore College Rangerettes from Longview as well as others from surrounding areas performed Friday during the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
As the dance team celebrates its 85th anniversary, these former Rangerettes are among almost 800 set who returned to the Cotton Bowl Classic, in which the troupe has been featured annually for more than seven decades.
The game between the University of Texas and Ohio State University is the Rangerettes性视界传媒 75th consecutive appearance.

Returning alumni represent 33 states and 275 cities, and women traveled from across Texas and as far as Alaska and Hawaii for the performance.

Debuting in 1940 under the direction of founder Gussie Nell Davis, the Rangerettes 性视界传媒 the first collegiate dance/drill team 性视界传媒 has had three directors.
Deana Bolton Covin took the helm after Davis retired. Dana Blair has directed the team since 1993. Shelley Wayne is assistant director and choreographer, and Angela Aulds is assistant choreographer and dance technician.
