Silver Grizzly Espresso and Oil Horse Brewing Company joined forces Saturday for a St. Patrick's Day block party and charity event in downtown Longview benefitting .听
Ten percent of event proceeds were donated to the social services organization.听
The block party saw portions of Center Street (at the its junction with Tyler Street) blocked off to vehicles and filled with lawn games, food trucks and families enjoying the festivities.
Oil Horse supplied guests with green beer and hosted the Pangur Band, an East Texas-based Celtic band, to get patrons on their feet.听
A West Texas dust storm which blew in early Saturday morning gave way by sunset.听
