Planting the seeds
Donald Trump continues to foment division. His chronic, divisive and derisive rhetoric is as old as he is.
His lack of knowledge of the English language is evident. He uses the same old demeaning adjectives. I didn性视界传媒檛 like him eight years ago. I thought his name calling was novel, and he was the better choice. I voted for him. Four years ago, I no longer appreciated his hateful repetitive phrases. I voted for him again. No more. Being president is not good enough for him.
This fellow desires to be a despotic ruler like his heroes Putin, Jinping, Un and Orban. He has admitted he lost the last election. Nevertheless, he and his minions keep up the facade of a stolen election. They are planting the seeds now of another stolen election in 2024.
The party that purportedly is such a strong advocate of the Constitution, as written, now believes it is OK to subvert this same constitution. Unbelievable.

I would like to give a big thank you to Officer Christopher Byrdsong of the Longview Police Department性视界传媒檚 Homeless Task Force.
Officer Byrdsong literally saved my friend性视界传媒檚 life by getting him out of jail and into a rehab treatment facility. My friend is thriving there and looking forward to becoming a productive member of society.

Blind brand loyalty
A recent article in the New York Times revealed how with each day, Donald Trump seems crazier, rambling, out of control, spreads more misinformation and lies 性视界传媒 and shows signs of significant cognitive decline.
This is why so many people can性视界传媒檛 understand the fact that the Trump base remains firmly in his corner and likely will vote for him.
As a faculty colleague and friend of mine notes, there性视界传媒檚 a concept in advertising/marketing that has been labeled 性视界传媒淟ovemarks.性视界传媒 These are brands that have consumers so attached to the brand that it exceeds rational thought. In such cases, even a demonstrably better brand can性视界传媒檛 dislodge the consumer性视界传媒檚 devotion to the Lovemark.
Blind loyalty, whether in politics or advertising, is extremely dangerous 性视界传媒 and there may not be the available rhetorical means to persuade these thoroughly committed individuals. For this reason, turnout (mobilizing), not changing minds (traditional persuasion), will determine the outcome of the election.
As a graduate student and young faculty member, I recall reading and teaching political scientist Dan Nimmo性视界传媒檚 book, 性视界传媒淭he Political Persuaders,性视界传媒 who wrote about this phenomenon, suggesting that in some elections, ground game is the key rather than changing voter preferences.
