County musician Joe Nichols is set to headline the Great Texas Balloon Race when it returns in June to the Longview Convention Complex.

The balloon race, June 13 to 15, again will join the Balloon Federation of America U.S. National Hot Air Balloon Championship from June 10 to 15.

性视界传媒淭he Great Texas Balloon Race will land again this June in Longview, bringing with it the top hot air balloon pilots from across the nation, one of country music性视界传媒檚 most-lauded recording artists and the return of an entertaining and inspiring Texas-themed drone show,性视界传媒� organizers said in a statement.

Nichols is set to headline the musical lineup June 14, and New Orleans band Bag Of Donuts will headline June 13. Opening acts are Untold Story on June 13 and Sheila and the Caddo Kats on June 14.

Nichols 性视界传媒渉as a sound that blurs the boundaries between country music性视界传媒檚 past and present,性视界传媒� race organizers said. He has earned him more than 2 billion cumulative audio streams/views and a half-dozen No. 1 singles with 10 Top 10 hits.

His songs such as 性视界传媒淏rokenheartsville,性视界传媒� 性视界传媒淪ize Matters,性视界传媒� Gimme that Girl,性视界传媒� 性视界传媒淪unny and 75性视界传媒� and 性视界传媒淭equila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off性视界传媒� have earned Nichols CMA and ACM awards and three Grammy nominations.

Sheila and the Caddo Kats showcase the vocals of Marshall native Sheila Clark Fox, two-time winner of Nashville性视界传媒檚 Entertainer of the Year. The band性视界传媒檚 third album 性视界传媒淐ountry Soul Living in the City,性视界传媒� won 2022性视界传媒檚 Album of the Year at the Josie Music Awards for independent artists.

Bag of Donuts brings 性视界传媒渋ts flamboyant performance combining showmanship, call-and-response audience participation, visual ingenuity and pure entertainment to the stage,性视界传媒� organizers said.

After the Bill Bussey Balloon Glow on the nights of June 13 and 14, crowds again this year will be treated to a performance featuring 350 drones creating a unique 3D show in the sky.

性视界传媒淥ne of the most talked-about features of last year性视界传媒檚 event, the drone show will warm up crowds for the headlining entertainment each night,性视界传媒� organizers said.

性视界传媒淲e are very excited to bring the Flylight drones back again this year,性视界传媒� Bennett said. 性视界传媒淟ast year性视界传媒檚 drone show was such a huge hit with our guests. They will be back this year with an even larger drone fleet!性视界传媒�

All ticketed events will be held at the Longview Convention Complex, 1123 Jaycee Drive.

Gates open at 4 p.m. June 13-14 for the festival, which includes 性视界传媒� weather permitting 性视界传媒� special shape balloon inflations, RE/MAX skydiving team, vendors, KidsLand, tethered balloon rides, Bill Bussey Balloon Glows and more in addition to live music and drone shows.

The Balloon Federation of America U.S. National Hot Air Balloon Championships kick off the action in the air June 10 in the skies over Longview.

Opening acts take the stage at 6:30 p.m. June 13-14 with headliners scheduled to perform at 9:45 p.m.
