One Love World, formerly One Love Longview, has canceled a scheduled Saturday open house for its new headquarters.
The homeless outreach organization moved its administrative office and distribution center to a home on Reel Road owned by St. Michael and All Angels' Episcopal Church. One Love closed its McCann Road facility in February.
The organization had planned a grand reopening ceremony for the public Saturday. But on Thursday evening, Executive Director Amanda Veasy posted on Facebook that the event had been canceled "due to unexpected complications."
"We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause," she wrote. "As always, thank you for your support. And thank you for being willing to spend your Saturday with us. If you see one of our neighbors we serve, make time to love on them. They are still out there."
